Depending on where you live in the world, wet weather is either a blessing or a curse (I’ll stick with the second one). With the cooler months upon us, keeping our garden friends happy and healthy is getting a little hard and less tempting, while their needs increase. Once you get on top of them, it’s not too much work and won’t steal a lot of time away from your cocoa and blanket-covered sofa.

Growing Sweet Peas In Western California  October 2nd, 2009 by Josh

Peas have a distinct blossom which makes them noticeable just about anywhere they show up, from wild peas growing up a rickety fence to peas which are grown at home in our own gardens. The best thing about these plants however, is not their unique blossoms, but the tiny tendrils which add to the overall charm of the plant, curling up every few inches as if looking for the next area to claim.
